PRIVACY & REFUND POLICIES

Since 2019, Sole Selections has been serving the greater Metro Detroit area delicious, home cooked meals directly from our kitchen to yours. Bringing our unique sensibility, style, and taste to each affair, our founder along with one of the most dynamic teams in the city. We take our work here seriously, and we ask our customers and clients to do the same. See our policies below.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Sole Selections is committed to providing exceptional service in a timely manner. When a customer cancels without giving enough notice, it prevents another customer from being served. Cancellation of catered and non-catered events have an impact on service quality while punishing customers who requested our services for their event. For these reasons, Sole Selections has implemented a cancellation policy that will be strictly observed.

  • ​Deposit – Your catering event date is secured only after we have received a deposit. You will receive an invoice to pay your deposit, which is 25% of the total cost for us to cater your event, and due no later than 3 weeks prior to your event.

  • Full payment – Your catering event must be paid in full no later than 1 week prior to your event. We will not do any shopping for your event until your invoice has been paid in full. 

  • Cancellation – If for any reason, you need to cancel our services, you may do so under these conditions:

    • If we are preparing food for your event, but are not catering, then you are eligible to receive a full refund if you cancel at least 2 weeks in advance. If you cancel within 2 weeks from your event, then you are eligible for a refund minus a 20% late cancellation fee.

    • If we are preparing food and catering your event, then you are eligible to receive a full refund within 7 days of paying your deposit. After the 7-day window, the deposit is non-refundable and you may still cancel your event before your final payment is due. If you cancel your event after you have paid the final payment, we have already purchased food and other cooking tools for your event and you are only eligible for a 50% refund.

  • Refund procedure:​​

    • Please submit your cancellation and refund request by using the form below. You can call us if you need help with the form.​

    • For digit products (e.g. recipe e-books), we are unable to track and manage content that has already been distributed to our customers, rendering digital products non-refundable.

KEY COMMERCIAL TERMS

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.


The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page when you check out.


For customers who are subscribed to a meal plan, the fee for the services and any other charges you may incur in connection with your subscription, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, will be charged on a monthly basis to your payment method of choice.
